We operate on a no-fix no-fee basis and will provide a free no obligation quote before any work is carried out.

On site service


 

We can visit you at your business or home to diagnose problems with your desktop computer or laptop. Most software issues can then be repaired there and then on site. Typical tasks could include setting up new email addresses, installing a new broadband connection, setting up wireless networking,  installing a new printer (and sharing it with other computers on your network) as well as troubleshooting slow and unstable computers.

We do hardware repairs and upgrades. We can replace faulty hard drives, motherboards, networking components, CD/DVD drives etc. We can move your data to a new larger drive.

We can give advice on using your computer, help install new software
or hardware like printers, scanners.

We can do an MOT style check of your computer and network to make it is running well and is secure.

Remote Assistance 

Most problems are software related and can be fixed or diagnosed remotely. Usually a quick call to us and we can connect to your computer to help you through a problem.

  • If you want to set up a session. Just click download Teamviewer and follow the instructions.

  • Once Teamviewer is installed and running you see a session ID and password. Then Contact Us to set up an appointment time.
    (currently evenings and weekends are best)

  • Minimum Charge £20 for up to 20 mins . Support will be available once confirmation of payment is received.


Off-site Service

Occasionally it is more cost-effective for us to collect your computer and repair or upgrade it off-site. We will then return it and demonstrate it at a time suitable for you.

Data recovery is best done this way due to the length of time it can take. If we can do this locally the cost is very competitive.

Estimates for costs are always given before work is carried out.

Training

We can provide education and training on most office applications such as Word and Excel. We can also just guide you to use your PC to store photos, music and edit video for example. If you just need help in using your investment give us a call.
